BSL Interpreter/NLCF Project Worker

VISS is looking to recruit a NRCPD registered BSL/English Interpreter to deliver and develop a National Lottery Community Fund project ‘Bridging the Communication Gaps for the Deaf Community of Telford & Wrekin’.  Principle duties would involve interpreting, translating and liaising with the Deaf community and/or Deaf individuals in a range of community settings within the borough of Telford & Wrekin.

The post is for one and a half years, with the potential for extension.

Salary – RSLI scale: £34805.16 (pro rata 20 hours)

Core working days: Mondays, Tuesdays and Friday afternoons: flexible.
