Deaf Relay Services (NRCPD Registered)

Deaf Relays are trained Deaf professionals that work in conjunction with BSL Interpreters for clients who have additional or specialist communication requirements such as foreign sign languages, individuals with learning disabilities or those not fluent in BSL. As native Sign Language users, they adapt messages received from BSL interpreters into a form that can be comprehended by a range of Sign Language users and relay, in ‘standard’ BSL any responses.
